Foremost Farms announced today the appointment of two new members to the board of directors. The new independent board directors, Staci Kring and Andrei Mikhalesvky, have deep experience in the dairy industry and management of dairy cooperatives.
Kring worked as Chief Revenue Officer of Organic Valley for three years and held roles of increasing responsibility at Schreiber Foods for more than 20 years, including Executive Vice President of Retail Sales. She brings commercial expertise including sales, marketing and product strategies with a foundation in operations and engineering. Kring earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BS in Foods, Nutrition and Wellness Studies, both from Kansas State University.
Mikhalesvky was President and CEO of California Dairies for eight years and held executive leadership roles at Symrise Inc., Georgia Pacific Corp. and Campbell Soup Co. He has experience in developing value-add strategies to improve existing processes and products. Mikhalesvky earned a BBS in Finance and Marketing from Stetson University.
“I’m looking forward to adding Staci and Andrei to our board,” said Foremost Farms Chairman of the Board Joel Eigenbrood. “As independent directors, they will bring new perspectives to round out and blend with the experience of rest of the directors, who are members of the cooperative.”
“We are pleased to welcome Staci and Andrei to the Foremost Farms board,” said Foremost Farms President & CEO Greg Schlafer. “Their successful business careers in the dairy and food industries, and their experience working with co-ops and farmers align well with our mission to create value for our dairy farm families.”
