    New board and 2026 business conference dates, location also announced

    The 2025 Professional Dairy Producers® (PDP) Business Conference brought together approximately 1,000 dairy producers and industry professionals March 12-13 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis.

    In addition to educational sessions and interactive networking opportunities, the annual conference formally announced Tier 2 of PDP’s Your Farm-Your Footprint™ Initiative. The initiative is a first-of-its-kind, farmer-led sustainability project that empowers dairy producers to know and understand their environmental footprint and implement solutions to shape the future of their farms. In Tier 2, eligible farms have access to additional cost-share funding for projects that could help reduce emissions, lessen a farm’s carbon footprint and improve sustainability.     2025/2026 PDP board elected

    Conference attendees were also introduced to their 2025-26 PDP board members at the close of the recent event. Elected to serve a three-year term on the PDP board were Jordan Matthews, Rosy-Lane Holsteins, Watertown, Wis.; David Trimner, Miltrim Farms, Inc., Athens, Wis.; and Heather Moore, Moore Family Farms, Maquoketa, Iowa.

    Other PDP board members include Patty Dolph, Dolph Dairy LLC, Lake Mills, Wis.; Jake Hoewisch, Hoewisch Homestead Dairy LLC of Fremont, Wis.; Paul Lippert, Grass Ridge Farm, Pittsville, Wis.; JJ Pagel, Pagels Ponderosa Dairy LLC, Kewaunee, Wis.; Laura Raatz, Wagner Farms, Oconto Falls, Wis.; and Brady Weiland, Weiland Dairy LLC, Columbus, Wis.

    2026 Business Conference location, dates, theme announced

    The 2026 PDP Business Conference will take place at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wis., March 4-5, 2026. With the theme of “Dairy’s Blueprint: Drafting Tomorrow’s Success,” the event will once again feature sessions and presenters as suggested by PDP members in accordance with the mission to share ideas, solutions, resources and experiences that help dairy producers succeed.
