In light of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Customs and Immigration Service (USCIS) enforcement activities across the country, the free webinar will be held on Tuesday, June 3 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. EST. with guest speaker, Brook Duer from Penn State Law’s Center for Agricultural and Shale Law. Hosted by the Center for Beef Excellence, Center for Poultry & Livestock Excellence, PA Beef Producers Working Group, and Center for Dairy Excellence, Duer will share what producers from all sectors of animal agriculture need to know about USCIS I-9 Audits and so-called “ICE raids” to best protect their business and workforce.

Brook Duer joined Penn State Law’s Center for Agricultural and Shale Law as a staff attorney in 2019. Prior to that, he was an attorney with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture for 12 years, serving 8 of those years as Chief Counsel to the agency and supervising the agency’s legal office. Prior to that, Brook practiced law for 18 years in Lancaster County.
