Moose Tracks® is bringing the 10,000 Scoop Challenge to Lancaster on Friday, August 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ewell Plaza. Moose Tracks is partnering with the Turkey Hill® Clean Water Partnership—which includes Turkey Hill, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, and Maola Local Dairies®—to serve 10,000 scoops of FREE Moose Tracks Ice Cream in a citywide ice cream social benefiting the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring the Chesapeake Bay’s rivers and streams.
For every scoop enjoyed, Moose Tracks will donate $1 to the cause, and Turkey Hill will match it with an additional $1 per scoop, doubling the impact! That means each scoop served equals $2 donated to the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay. With a goal of scooping 10,000 Turkey Hill Moose Tracks ice cream scoops, the event aims to raise$20,000 in just four hours. The funds will support local farmers and clean water initiatives right here in our community, protecting our streams and the health of the Chesapeake Bay.
Attendees are encouraged to join the fun and enjoy delicious ice cream scooped for a good cause by local celebrities and volunteers!
Moose Tracks—the legendary flavor featuring decadent Moose Tracks Fudge and peanut butter cups swirled into vanilla ice cream—has hosted more than 50 events since 2010, surpassing $500,000 raised for local charities in cities across the nation.
