

Youth, ages 9 to 21 (as of January 1, 2012), are welcome to enter a 500-word (or less) essay about their favorite Holstein female sired by a Select Sires bull. The animal does not have to be an animal owned or shown by the youth, but can be any Select-sired animal they admire. All essays should include the name of the sire and be accompanied by a photo of the animal. Photos can be professional or candid, but must be 300 dpi or 4 X 6 inches in size. Entries must be submitted by August 27, 2012, by email (lmaurice@selectsires.com) or can be mailed to Select Sires Inc., Attn: Leslie Maurice, 11740 U.S. Highway 42N, Plain City, OH 43064.
