Katie Greidanus was born and raised on a dairy farm in Delavan, WI, with her dad Randy, Mom Vonda, and three other siblings Jacob, Jared, and Shelbie. At Diamondhead Holsteins together the family raises Red and Whites along with Black and White Holsteins. Katie has shown dairy cattle at numerous county, state, and national level shows. While showing her specialty is showmanship, as she feels that it is a big part in how you perform in the show ring, and as well as back at home on the farm. Katie is currently going to school at Western Technical College in La Crosse WI. She is pursuing her future in Agriculture Business in hopes to further her education in communication and marketing. As she takes on the summer internship with the National Red and White Dairy Cattle Association she is eager to meet new people, but also to represent and promote the Red and White dairy industry at various events.
The RWDCA strives to encourage and promote the progressive breeding and development of superior Red and White Dairy cattle by providing breeders with information, programs and services to help track, evaluate and improve the breed from one generation to the next.
