DelPro™5.0 Extends Data Analysis Capabilities to Parlors
DeLaval Inc recently announced the launch of DelPro™ 5.0 Herd Management Software, an upgrade to the company's flagship software platform. DelPro 5.0 provides comprehensive and fully-integrated dairy management solutions for parallel, herringbone and rotary parlors. Originally designed to run the robotic Voluntary Milking System (VMS) ™, the software is user-friendly and may be customized to run all parlor, ID, activity, feeding and sort gate systems. Its powerful farm management capabilities provide the needed tools to drill down into multiple data points to enable producers to make better decisions faster. DelPro 5.0 has the capability to track AI synchronization, vaccination and treatment protocols as well as to create vet visit lists and automate sorting according to chosen criteria. Its customized reporting allows producers to monitor herd health and receive alerts when a cow needs attention. Other detailed reports can be created based on a producer's needs, when the software is paired with parlor automation, to provide visibility of daily milk weights and cow productivity to help improve milk quality.

Post-installation software training is provided through DeLaval's extensive dealer staff and Product Specialists. The training teaches producers how to create reports, input data, and develop graphs and charts based on their key performance indicators. The end goal is to help facilitate customers in becoming experts with the software and making it work for them to enhance their existing farm management practices.
DelPro 5.0 interfaces with other DeLaval solutions including the Interactive Data Display (IDD) and Body Condition Scoring (BCS) ™ system. It is currently available throughout North America.
