The 2017 Glanbia Employee/Patron Scholarships were awarded to five Magic Valley students. The eligibility requirements were:

  • Child of a full time Glanbia employee;
  • Child of a current dairy patron shipping milk to Glanbia;
  • Plans to enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited 2 or 4 year college; or vocational technical school.
  • Repeat applicants of the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th years of college must be majoring in a dairy manufacturing related program such as dairy science, food science, manufacturing, engineering, IT, or accounting.

We are pleased to announce $8,000 in scholarships were awarded in varying amounts to help further the education of Alex Ystueta, Twin Falls High School, Riley Staker-Morfin, Kimberly High School, Ty Hatch, Richfield High School, Kathryn Frostenson, Jerome High School and Allie Brandsma, Lighthouse Christian High School. The winners were selected based on their essays, academic record, leadership and volunteer activities. We are proud to support and invest in our Magic Valley youth.
