Filament announces the hiring of Allison Luety as a marketing executive. Luety will assist with strategic marketing communications plans and focus on content development.

Luety joins the team after serving as a communications specialist for the American Angus Association. There, she produced the weekly TV show, The Angus Report, and provided editorial assistance for a variety of marketing materials. Before joining the American Angus Association, Luety interned in the communications departments of Meredith AgriMedia, Agri-Pulse Communications and FarmHer.

“Allison brings a unique combination of beef industry knowledge and multimedia experience to Filament,” says Megan Hayes, Filament vice president. “Her skill set will be a tremendous asset to our clients and their marketing programs. We’re excited to have her on our growing team.”

Luety earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University where she studied public relations. On campus, Luety was actively involved in Block and Bridle, the National Agri-Marketing Association student chapter and the Agriculture Entrepreneurship Initiative.

Luety is a Clinton, Wis., native and grew up on her family’s row crop and beef cattle operation, where she is still actively involved.
