The 2019 All-American Dairy Show will run from Saturday, September 14 to Wednesday, September 18, condensing the show by one day.
“In an effort to be fiscally responsible, we have opted to tighten up the show schedule,” said show president Dr. Alan McCauley. “The new schedule will benefit the exhibitors, the hundreds of volunteers, and the show’s bottom line.”
The most notable changes are for the Holstein breed. Pennsylvania Junior Holstein exhibitors will be recognized during the Premier National Junior Show on Monday, September 16, with champions selected in both the state and national shows. The open Pennsylvania Holstein Fall Championship Show will run simultaneously with the Eastern National Holstein Show on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18, with state and national champions chosen separately.
Complete Ayrshire, Jersey and Milking Shorthorn shows will be held Tuesday, September 17, and complete Guernsey and Red and White shows will remain on Wednesday, September 18. The Brown Swiss and Holsteins are the only split shows, on Tuesday, September 17 and Wednesday, September 18.
As always, the show wraps up with the selection of Supreme Champion after all shows are completed on Wednesday, September 18.

The All-American Dairy Show features 22 shows in six days in addition to the nation's only all dairy antiques show. Last year's show featured nearly 3,000 animals and 1,500 exhibitors from around the country.
