
The winning senior 3-year-old cow, Lone Birch D. Wham Dallas, owned by Emily Paquette, Gabriel Blaisdell and Lone Birch Ayrshires, was named the Reserve Grand Champion of the show.
Honorable mention honors were awarded to the Reserve Senior Champion, the winning 100,000-pound cow, Sharwards Calimero Megan, owned by Megan Syndicate of Epworth, Iowa. Judge Wallace complimented her cleanliness and attachments for being just five days fresh.
In the junior show, the winning 4-year-old, Garnet-Lane Avenger Poinsettia owned by Cassandra Plummer of Galena, Md., was named Grand Champion, and Magic-Meadows BBBK Alexus, owned by Britney Hill of Bristol, Vt., was named the Reserve Champion. The junior show's Champion heifer was Paragon-Acres Tsb Kinetic owned by Adam Buckenmeyer of Alexander, NY., while LNT Doublwhammy's Missy, owned by Elizabeth Forsting of Alma Center, Wis., was named the Reserve Champion heifer.
In the open heifer show, Onword Mordicus Ali-ET, owned by Jonna B Schutte of Oelwein, Iowa, came out on top, and Des Prairies Peugeot, owned by Stephen McDonald of Princeton, Il., was Reserve. Premier Exhibitor honors of the heifer show went to P&A Ayrshires of Dyersville, Iowa. Covey and P&A Ayrshires of Dyersville, Iowa, were named Premier Breeder of the heifer show.
Judge Wallace placed 257 animals with assistance from Associate Judge Gary Bowers.
