On the hottest days of the summer, it can get warm inside the cab even with the air conditioner running. In order to alleviate this situation, I added some window tint and an extra fan.
To begin, I removed the windows from the tractor and added 6 inches of window tint to the top. I took care to measure my eye level in the tractor with the horizon so at night the window tint wouldn’t make it harder to see what’s going on even with the lights on. I also wired in an additional 12-volt fan to help stir more air. While it may not seem like it helps a lot, 2°F or 3°F can make a difference in the summer.
