Filament announces the hiring of Julie Larson as client business lead and vice president. Larson will be working with the company’s executive team to assist with business development in addition to strategic oversight of marketing communication plans and initiatives. “With more than 28 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and animal health sales and business development, we are excited about the depth and breadth of experience Julie brings to the team,” says Ed Peck, president of Filament. “Julie’s passion for coaching and mentoring, combined with her incredible sales background, brings a new level of expertise to our team.” A native of Lake Mills, Wis., Larson is a lifetime FFA alumni member whose background spans from registered Holsteins and purebred hogs to beef cattle. Larson lives in Viroqua, Wis., with her family where they raise Holstein heifers and crop 300 acres. Larson joins the Filament team after 18 years with Merial, now Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. There she was responsible for senior sales development, including working with veterinary, retail and distributor accounts in Wisconsin and Iowa. “Filament’s passion is to help clients strategically navigate various marketing challenges by understanding their target audiences,” says Peck. “Julie will help us maintain our core values, develop the quality of service we provide and invest in the career growth of our employees.” Larson joins Jon Brakebill, chief operating officer and vice president and Megan Hayes, messaging lead and vice president on the executive team at Filament.
