At Hidden View Farm in Cambridge, N.Y., a mob feeder was constructed to meet the needs of the farm’s group-housed calves. Four holes were drilled on the lower portion of the side of a 5-gallon bucket, and rubber spouts were inserted through the holes. A metal hook was attached to the top of the 5-gallon bucket to easily hang it over pen fences. The hook was attached to the 5-gallon bucket with a metal rod inserted through additional drilled holes at the top of the bucket.
