I created an easier way to take down an old barbed wire fence. I cut the ends off a 55-gallon drum and lag screwed it to a 4 by 4. There are two lags in each end so the 4 by 4 doesn’t spin. Then I staple the end of the barbed wire fence to the 4 by 4 and roll it up. When I’m done rolling up the wire, I take the barrel ends off and reuse them on the next fence.
