Zinpro Corporation, the industry leader in performance trace mineral nutrition for livestock, poultry, aquaculture and companion animals, today announced the addition of two species-specific sales representatives in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Alexander Radionov, Ph.D., has joined as dairy account manager, and Maya Rumyantseva, has joined as swine account manager. Based in Moscow, each will provide customers with commercial and technical support for the company’s animal nutrition products, hoof-health management programs and species-specific business solutions.

Dr. Alexander Radionov brings to the position more than 20 years of dairy experience, most recently as the ruminant technical director for a global food and agriculture company. Additional roles held in the industry include senior dairy technical specialist with an international animal nutrition company, veterinary consultant for an animal health and biotechnology company and chief veterinarian for a dairy farm. He earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Fundamental and Applied Parasitology of Animals in Moscow.

With nearly 20 years of animal production and nutrition experience, Maya Rumyantseva most recently served as swine technical director for a global food and agriculture company and previously as animal nutritionist and production manager for a swine and poultry integrator. In these roles, she obtained extensive experience in setting up research trials, developing feeding programs and implementing new technologies to improve production. She earned a degree in biochemistry from Rostov State University in Russia.
