A public forum on genetic diversity in dairy cattle will be held during World Dairy Expo on the afternoon of September 30th at the Sheraton Hotel.

With many breeders frustrated over rising levels of inbreeding, this forum aims to bring protection of genetic diversity to the forefront of our breeding programs. Perspectives of breeders and industry personnel will be shared during panels that allow public questions and discussion. Speakers will address implications of inbreeding and potential mechanisms to address genetic diversity.
