Vaxxinova® announces a label change to the Vaxxon® SRP® Salmonella cattle vaccine. SRP Salmonella was the first USDA licensed vaccine using the widely recognized SRP technology, launched in 2005. Veterinarians and producers will see the new label circulating in the next few months.

Vaxxinova Sales Director, Jeff Williams said “We listened to our customer. The product itself is not changing. The refreshed look and color scheme will be unique for each of our SRP® vaccines. This change will help Producers and their employees correctly identify the products.”

Vaxxon SRP Salmonella (USDA true name Salmonella Newport Bacterial Extract) is fully licensed by the USDA and was the first USDA licensed vaccine to use SRP technology.

The Managing Director of Vaxxinova US, Jim Sandstrom, DVM, said that Vaxxinova will not have any lapse in product availability due to the label change. “Our team has worked efficiently to ensure the transition to the updated label is a seamless one without fulfillment delays.”
