The two Galaxy Merlin2G units will be installed this fall in a new facility that will house 120 cows. “We are very excited to be installing this new model robot,” says Bradley Biehl, President of AMS Galaxy USA. “This is one more step to achieving our mission of helping farmers be more efficient through automation.”
AMS Galaxy USA has recently introduced the Merlin2G as part of their automated milking installation (AMI). “I’ve been working with AMS Galaxy for several years as I planned to expand my herd,” explains Lauver. “They are a company with integrity and commitment, so I have complete confidence in working with them to install the Merlin2G.”
The Galaxy Merlin2G is a fusion of AMS Galaxy USA and Fullwood JOZ knowledge and technologies. This next generation AMI brings together the controls, documentation, and know-how of AMS Galaxy with the proven milking success of the Fullwood JOZ’s M2erlin. These components merge to become an approved AMI for the U.S. dairy industry, exclusively available through AMS Galaxy USA and their dealer network.
“Our team has worked very hard to bring the Galaxy Merlin2G to the market and we are very proud of what this unit is capable of,” states Biehl. “It really will bring magic to automated milking.”
