University of Michigan track and field sprinter Ziyah Holman is pairing up with Michigan dairy farmers to share how dairy fuels her success in her sport and the classroom. The collaboration is through a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) program partnership with United Dairy Industry of Michigan (UDIM).

Connecting with current and upcoming athletes, as well as teens and young adults, about dairy’s role in an active lifestyle is a UDIM priority. Holman will be featured by the checkoff’s Conquer with Milk brand to support Michigan dairy farmers.

Holman is a junior studying political science and business. The track and field sprinter and dairy aficionado earned First Team All-American, three-time Gatorade Player of the Year and Team USA representative honors thanks to her hard work and dedication.

“If I had to pick my favorite dairy food, it would definitely be cheese,” says the Maryland native. “But as an athlete, my go-to fueling snack is yogurt. The protein I get from yogurt provides a great source of energy for me to run my best.”

“We are excited about this partnership with Ziyah,” says Dwyer Williams, UDIM CEO. “This opportunity will allow her to engage with fellow athletes, collegiate peers, high school students and consumers alike through her social platforms on the nutritional and physical benefits of dairy consumption. This truly encompasses our mission in working on behalf of Michigan dairy farmers.”
