Currently, I'm a public relations counselor at MorganMyers in Waukesha, Wis. MorganMyers is a strategic communications firm that builds, protects and promotes brands that help feed the world. Other previous positions include editor at Feed&Grain magazine, and I worked at Lessiter Publications where I was managing editor of Farmer's Digest, associate editor of No-Till Farmer and assistant editor of American Farriers Journal.
My husband Ed and I own and operate a 120-cow dairy where we milk registered Guernseys and Holsteins in a robotic dairy facility. We farm 800 acres in Columbus, Wis., with our primary crops being corn, alfalfa, soybeans and wheat.
Hoard's Dairyman gave me a great opportunity to learn more about the publishing industry. I was an intern during my sophomore year of college, so it helped solidify my decision to pursue a career in communications.
