After graduation, I became a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Currently, I am a technician in Leesport, Pa. I have three beautiful daughters and enjoy outdoor activities with my family and friends.
Although I wouldn't change my experience, the most valuable thing I learned from the internship was that I did not want to be a journalist. Instead of promoting and reporting on agriculture, I discovered my heart lies in serving our community in a more hands-on role. Now I not only get to tell clients about new industry information, but I also work with and treat the animals
