With a theme of "Market Fresh", World Dairy Expo judging contestants hope their minds are fresh this morning as they judge cattle from each breed and prepare to give oral reasons this afternoon. Early this morning 4-H teams from across the country stepped on the colored shavings and the college contest starts at 11 a.m. The 4-H and post-secondary (junior college) award banquets will be held this evening. Tomorrow morning the university contest results are revealed. Watch this blog and our Facebook posts for results.
For those that fancy history, we have the links to the past high individuals and high teams in these three contests. Are the names familiar to you? How has your alma mater done in the past? Visits Hoard's at Expo to follow the link to the contests.
In the background you can see the orange and purple shavings that decorate the ring. The tall carton of milk is the focal point of the attractive display, along with the massive cornucopia and Expo Market storefront.
