This week over 70,000 dairy enthusiasts will be in Madison, Wis., for World Dairy Expo. And the Hoard's Dairyman team will be right there, bringing the sights and stories from the show to you. With a brand-spanking new facility, people want to start by catching a glimpse of the new cattle pavilions. A record number of cattle entries are reported, and a huge crowd will undoubtedly want to see what all the excitement is about.

Hoard's at Expo provides several daily blogs, award winner archives, interviews with attendees, and eye-catching video collages. But Expo is more than just the show, as the Hoard's Dairyman Farm and office host National 4-H Conference, judging teams and an assortment of other tours during the very busy week.

Team members will be attending presentations and banquets and interacting with attendees to provide compelling content for those who could not make it to Madison this fall. National judging contests are held in the beginning of the week, and Hoard's Dairyman will be announcing the winners on our Facebook page. Cheer on the youth as they vie to be the nation's best! Follow us on Twitter this week, too, with our #HDExpo hashtag.

If you are on the grounds on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon, stop by either booth and speak with one of our Editors. They will be at Expo all week, but have set aside time specifically to interact with our readers at the booths.

We will be promoting new items and subscription specials in our two booths, also, in both the Coliseum (AL 213-217) and the Exhibition Hall. (EH 4327-4328). One of the new items is a book by well-known dairy artist, Bonnie Mohr. She will be in the booth to sign her Once there were no cows book at two special times! The Exhibition Hall booth on Wednesday, October 1 from 2 p.m to 3 p.m. and our Coliseum booth on Thursday, October 2 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
