This year's Full Harvest Festival at Warm Belly Farm in Cottage Grove promises a delightful celebration of our local agricultural heritage, highlighted by the exciting World Dairy Expo and the FFA-themed corn maze. This engaging attraction underscores the vital role farming plays in our community and offer families and visitors a chance to connect with the roots of their food.
The World Dairy Expo brings a spotlight to the dairy industry, showcasing the hard work and dedication of farmers who produce the milk and dairy products we enjoy every day. Visitors to the expo can learn about dairy farming, from cow care to milk processing, fostering appreciation and understanding of this essential sector.
We are also proud to celebrate the Future Farmers of America (FFA). In partnership with local FFA families, we have invited their animals to be part of our festival, providing them with another opportunity to showcase their skills and dedication.
Together, these attractions at Warm Belly Farm’s Full Harvest Festival highlight the importance of agriculture, community, and education. They inspire us to cherish our farming heritage and to strive for a future built on sustainable and passionate stewardship of the land. Our own James “Ernie” Hougan and Emily Hebbe have strong ties to the dairy industry—they are part of a six-generation farming family and generously share their knowledge and expertise with our staff every day.
