Socha, Tomlinson and Frensko fill three, newly created positions to better facilitate the company’s continuing commitment to research-proven products and business solutions

Zinpro Corporation announces promotions within the company’s Research and Nutritional Services (RNS) team to meet the company’s growing market demands and its commitment to develop research-proven animal nutrition products and business solutions.

Mike Socha, Ph.D., is promoted to a newly created role as RNS associate director; Dana Tomlinson, Ph.D., is promoted to a newly created role as research nutritionist, companion animal; and Molly Frensko is promoted to a newly created position as RNS project coordinator.

In his new role as RNS associate director, Dr. Socha will lead the transfer of technology, tools, training and programs to internaland external customers within the United States. He will continue to oversee the North America RNS team to deliver research and technical support to Zinpro sales teams and customer base. In addition, he will invest a significant time commitment to identifyand develop new molecules for future Zinpro products and also work with product development teams to screen and confirm effective compounds.

Dr. Socha previously served Zinpro as regional RNS manager – North America. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in dairy science from the University of Wisconsin and his doctorate in animal and dairy sciences form the University of New Hampshire.As research nutritionist, companion animal, Dr. Tomlinson will provide nutritional services for North America and International companion animal markets, and work closely with Zinpro sales and marketing teams to expand the company’s current market share. He will also be responsible for Zinpro’s companion animal research.

Dr. Tomlinson had previously served in a dual role in both pet food and dairy technical support for the company. He received his bachelor’s degree in dairy science at The Ohio State University, and both his master’s degree in dairy science nutrition and management, and doctorate degree in animal science, ruminant nutrition and management, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Molly Frensko
In her new position as RNS project coordinator, Frensko will direct efforts to improve the speed at which the RNS team delivers new research data to internal and external customers. Frensko will be responsible for project setup, financials and milestones; coordinate project completion; and archive all project-related information.
