We had a problem with our cows’ tails falling into our manure pan in the parlor, especially in the summer months when it’s warm and flies are present. Looking for a solution, I cut the bottom quarter off a hog panel and welded it at an angle over our manure pans. Since I did this, we haven’t had any wet, manure-covered tails flying around while we milk. And as a bonus, our cows are cleaner. Brandon Maier, Wisconsin
