VAS is excited to announce Kevin Coffey has joined the team as chief executive officer. In this role, he will focus on global growth and the strategic direction of VAS’ dairy management platform.
“Kevin Coffey’s strong leadership background in data and herd management and innovation within the dairy industry will be a valuable asset to VAS and the producers they serve,” says Paul Hunt, URUS chief executive officer. “Kevin’s unique experience in dairy data, precision management, dairy processing and the AI industry make him an ideal fit within VAS and the URUS family of brands.”
Coffey has spent his entire career in the agricultural industry, including leading Munster Bovine, the largest AI, herd recording and herd health testing organization in Ireland as well as various roles at Aurivo Co-operative. Most recently he served as the head of Smart Farming at Datamars, a global company delivering integrated product solutions in livestock management and animal health delivery.

As we look ahead, I’m excited to guide the evolution of that legacy to meet the rapidly evolving needs of dairy producers with greater intelligence, connectivity and impact,” says Coffey.
Coffey holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from University College Dublin and a Masters in the Science of Management Practice from Trinity College Dublin.
