Morgan Oliveira served as the 36th Hoard’s Dairyman editorial intern. She grew up working on her family’s dairy farm near Hilmar, Calif., with her parents, Joe and Marilena, and her younger siblings Joseph and Madison.
Oliveira served as a California FFA state officer before beginning college at California Polytechnic State University, where she is majoring in agricultural communications. On campus, she is involved with the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, Agriculture Leadership Society, Agriculture Communicators of Tomorrow, and is an ambassador for the agricultural college. She holds leadership positions with the Los Lecheros Dairy Club, the Cal Poly ASI Board of Directors, and the Agriculture Education and Communication Department Student Advisory Board.
In addition to her campus involvement, Oliveira served as the District Four Dairy Princess for the California Milk Advisory Board. Her previous internships were with Agricultural Council of California and Ag Source’s Outskirts magazine.
