This young visitor was able to get to know one of our Guernseys visiting the feedbunk. Our cows are fed two times per day (after each milking) and spend a lot of time eating.

The Guernsey heifers were visited by two boys at their feedbunk. The heifers are housed in this shed from the age of 2 months to when they have their first calf.

Big crowds showed up for breakfast between 6 and 11 a.m. This was the first time the dairy breakfast had been held on a working farm in many years.

Many groups were able to take tours through the 586-foot-long freestall barn. The barn has 232 stalls and is where the cows spend about 90 percent of their day.

The new milking parlor, part of the expansion that opened in 2007, features a double-10 herringbone parlor. While this group of people fit in the parlor easily, the new technologies allow for only two people to run the parlor while it is in operation.

Burger Corner, of Jefferson and Fort Atkinson, created this 300-pound banana split. With almost 3,000 guests, it didn't take long for it to disappear.
