He explained that originally, both Hoard’s Dairyman and World Dairy Expo were both hosting appreciation events for trade show representatives. They decided to join forces and put together one larger event to provide attendees with more food and entertainment options. Each year, they plan for upwards of 700 attendees.
Vorpahl said that one goal of the event is to allow Hoard’s Dairyman staff and exhibitors to reconnect at the beginning of the show. It’s also an opportunity for people to “talk shop” and catch up in a low-key atmosphere. For more than two decades, it has been the perfect way for exhibitors to end Day One of World Dairy Expo!
