A 6-year-old Jersey from Wisconsin was named Grand Champion for the third year in a row.

She’s no stranger to the center of the showring, and for the third time in three years, Musquie Iatola Martha-ET was named Grand Champion of the International Jersey Show at World Dairy Expo. The 6-year-old cow is owned by Milksource Genetics of Kaukauna, Wis.

After thanking the breeders and exhibitors for allowing him to judge what he called an incredible show, Judge Mike Berry tapped Martha as Senior Champion and then Grand Champion. He said, “I love this aged cow that has had five calves. She has so much style and balance, and a beautiful mammary system.”

Reserve Grand Champion was Elliots Blackstone Charlotte-ET, exhibited by Rivendale Farms of Pittsburgh LLC of Bulger, Pa. The winning 5-year-old cow was also the Reserve Senior Champion.

Intermediate Champion was a Senior 3-year-old named MB Lucky Lady Feliz-Navidad-ET, also owned by Rivendale Farms of Pittsburgh LLC, Bulger, Pa. The Reserve Intermediate Champion was Jasmari Verb Lil Verona-ET, a senior 2-year-old exhibited by Michael Heath and Crossbrook Jerseys, Middleburg, N.Y.

Junior Champion went to Wala Premier Mistee, exhibited by Rivendale Farms of Pittsburgh LLC, Bulger, Pa. Reserve Junior Champion was Woodmohr Genty Gin-ET, owned by Robert Nagal, Panama, N.Y. Both of these heifers came from a large spring yearling class.

The Junior Champion of the Junior Show also came from the spring yearling class. She was LLR Premier Too Legit-ET, exhibited by Madison Iager, Woodbine, Md. Reserve Junior Champion was Meadowridge Fizz Sparkle, a winter calf owned by Cole Kruse and Gene Henderson of Dyersville, Iowa.

Intermediate Champion of the Junior Show went to Miss Nastias Y Not Me, owned by Aspen Silva, Modesto, Calif. Reserve Intermediate went to Lake-Point Premier Valyria, exhibited by G, G, H, and E Fremstad of Westby, Wis.

Miss Nastias Y Not Me went on to be named Grand Champion of the Junior Show. Reserve Champion was Hazelcrest Governor Molly, owned by Nicole Sanders of Hilmar, Calif. She was also the Senior Champion. Reserve Senior Champion went to LC Valentino Clover, exhibited by Erin and Sophie Leach and Anna Hahn of Linwood, Kan.

Judge Berry, from Albany, Ore., and his associate, Corey Couch of Victoria, Australia, placed 182 heifers and 173 cows as they paraded across the colored shavings. Tower Vue Prime Tequila-ET was named the Premier Sire of the show. Premier Breeder was Pleasant Nook Jerseys, Ayr, Ontario, while Premier Exhibitor was a tie between River Valley Farm, Tremont, Ill., and Rivendale Farms of Pittsburgh LLC, Bulger, Pa.
