The All-American Dairy Show scheduled for September 13-17, 2025 in Harrisburg, Pa., is introducing several exciting changes for this year’s event. From a revamped Supreme Champion format to new youth contests and exhibitor experiences, here's what to expect:

    People’s Choice Supreme Champion

The traditional Supreme Champion Pageant, typically held at the conclusion of the open shows on Wednesday, September 17, will be replaced this year with a new People’s Choice Supreme Champion Contest. This updated format will feature a social media voting campaign spotlighting the seven Open Show Grand Champions and seven Junior Champions—giving fans and fellow exhibitors the chance to vote for their favorite.

This change reflects the increasing challenge of hosting four breed shows and a Supreme Pageant all in one day, especially as many exhibitors are packing up and preparing to leave. Over the past few years, this tight schedule has led to decreased attendance and participation in the Supreme Pageant.

“We felt the resources typically spent on the Supreme Pageant could be redirected to benefit all exhibitors through enhanced livestream coverage, Cowsmo photography, and improved hospitality,” Michelle Cornman, Pennsylvania Dairy and Allied Industries Association President shared.

The People’s Choice Supreme Champion will be announced via social media following the conclusion of the show. Cybil Fisher Photography will be taking the headshots of each of the fourteen champions with their sashes and banners, and each will also receive a Trans Ova certificate.

    Youth Fitting Contest

New for 2025, the fitting contest will be held separately from the Youth Showmanship Contest. The fitting contest will be held on Saturday, September 13th in the Large Arena. Senior division contestants (age 16-21 years old) are eligible to compete. Contestants must provide their own animal to fit. They do not need to be in the participants name, but they do need to be entered in the show. Participants are allowed to have the head and hocks and below only clipped prior to the contest.

The event will offer prizes including several clippers, a mini blower, show supplies, cash awards, and more! Entries are online only and must be submitted by September 4, 2025. Visit allamericandairyshow.com/youth-fitting-contest to learn more about the contest and enter.

    Snacking with the Vendors

    Exhibitor Social and Backtag Pickup

Join us for Snacking with the Vendors on Sunday, September 14 from 3-5 PM. Exhibitors and their families are invited to join us for a social gathering. In addition to enjoying local refreshments and connecting with fellow participants, exhibitors will also receive their back tag numbers for the week. This new event aims to create a warm and welcoming start to the show and we encourage all exhibitors to attend. A special thank you to Trans Ova for sponsoring the event, as well as Troegs Independent Brewing Company and Big Hill Ciderworks for donating the beer and cider.

    Stalling Forms

New this year, strings with more than one exhibitor should submit a stalling form by the person in charge of the string listing exhibitors in the string. The deadline for purchasing extra stalls is 8/20/2025. Visit allamericandairyshow.com/stalling.
