Well done, Dave Forgey . . . your item "New rail line could open exporting channels" in the November 4 Hoard's Dairyman Intel was very exciting. The distance from the Green Bay-Fond du Lac area cheese plants (northeast Wisconsin) to LaPort, Ind., is on average about 200 miles. It is about time we start to realize our rail system was once what built our U.S. industrial engine. Now with our technology, we should be able to quickly load and unload rail cars and get product to the retail market.
