#D food printing

Isn't the Foodini concept a way to play with the "pink slime" everyone was so upset about? Hmmmm. That's my conclusion after reading the item "3D food printing? Um, no" in the December 23 issue of Hoard's Dairyman Intel.

In that discussion, Foodini alluded to instant food shaped into whatever you want ala Star Trek. I was thinking about the pink slime fiasco where everyone thought it was gross that leftover beef is shaped into patties, which is what Foodini would be doing. A bit of a stretch, but something for our industry to think about.
