Clearly, neither speaker cited in the March 16, 2015, Intel "Rethinking tail docking" nor the March 9, 2015, Intel "Rethinking animal welfare starts with tails" have ever milked cows in a parallel or carousel-type parlor. If they were to milk cows in this fashion for just one day, I'm sure they will at least attempt to make a rational argument in favor of tail docking. It's very disappointing, embarrassing actually, that Hoard's has not recognized one of the biggest reasons many of its readers dock tails.
