Bolstering transition cow immunity
presented by Marcus Kehrli, D.V.M., USDA's National Animal Disease Center
Transition cows are immunosuppressed around calving, which results in more cases of mastitis, metritis, and retained placentas. Targeted immune modulation restores immune defenses and reduces incidence and severity.
To address this situation Marcus Kehrli, D.V.M., USDA National Animal Disease Center, presented “Bolstering transition cow immunity” on Monday, September 10.
