I just wanted to say thanks for bringing out articles like the one on planting green and soil health that ran in the March 10 Hoard’s Dairyman Intel. We have practiced this for five years now and have been no-tilling and cover cropping since 2013. We only regret that we didn’t start sooner to have reaped the benefits. Having a healthy soil structure gives us healthy plants and then healthy animals in return.

We believe this type of farming can change a lot of public image issues with manure and show the general public we really do care about the environment. We hope to see more of this in the future.
