Travel Opportunities:

The Division of Animal Sciences has a senior Dairy Production course which travels to surrounding farms to evaluate management styles. The Division is also creating a new on line Pasture Based Dairy course which will utilize grazing dairies in Southwest Missouri to provide a 1 week laboratory to learn management of various producers including the New Zealand companies in Missouri. Students also participate in Block and Bridle Species trips and many courses take students on trips. The Division of Animal Sciences has established a New Zealand Internship which we have had two students travel to New Zealand to work on grazing dairy farms.
