Large regions of drought and excess moisture during the growing season had a large influence on forage quantity and hay prices. Forage quality from U.S. testing labs were summarized. Exports of corn, soybeans, and alfalfa will continue to affect ration costs. The use of by-product feeds provide flexibility, but there will be regional differences.
